Our Baby Buds playroom provides a home from home environment and caters for up to 12 children aged between 8 weeks to 2 years of age.
Our main focus is building positive relationships in which our youngest children feel settled and secure.
Activities are sensory based and allow children to explore natural play materials which satisfy their curiosity and promote the use of their senses.
Our Little Acorns Playroom is bright and spacious and caters for up to 25 children from toddlers to 3 years of age.
Children enjoy a wider variety of experiences, such as role play, painting and drawing, access to books, construction and physical play.
The ratio of staff to children is 1 member of staff for every 3 children aged under 2 years and 1 member of staff for every 5 children aged over 2 years.
Our staff use the Pre-Birth to Three Curriculum for planning and implementing activities.
Our Great Oaks Room caters for up to 40 children from 3 years to school age.
The open plan room provides flexible accommodation enabling children to enjoy a wide range of activities and experiences including physical play, ICT games, numeracy and literacy, construction, creative and role play, each building confidence and igniting imagination.
Our staff use Curriculum for Excellence in planning and implementing activities and educational experiences for the children.
For children in their pre-school year the emphasis is on preparing them for starting primary school. Here staff work closely with children and their parents to ensure that each child is confident and happy in making the transition from nursery to primary one.
The ratio of staff to children in this room is 1 member of staff for every 8 children.
We provide all our children with healthy, well balanced and carefully thought out and planned meals as part of our Healthy Eating Policy. Meals are prepared by our own nursery cook in our on-site kitchen. We cater for individual children's allergies and dietary requirements.
